A ceramic-protection conversation should cover preparation, realistic durability, curing and maintenance before you book.

1. Ask what preparation is included
A coating does not correct defects by itself. Clarify washing, decontamination, polishing and panel preparation so you understand what happens before protection is applied.
2. Understand the protection category
Coatings, sealants and waxes can all improve water behavior and gloss, but they differ in chemistry, application and maintenance. Ask what product category is actually being offered.
3. Plan for curing and handover
Some products need controlled time before water exposure or washing. Confirm the handover instructions, weather considerations and any restrictions during the initial cure window.
4. Discuss maintenance honestly
Protection still needs careful washing. Ask which shampoos, wash methods and inspection intervals are recommended, and whether maintenance services are optional or required.
5. Clarify claims and documentation
If durability or warranty language is used, ask what conditions apply and what documentation is provided. The service description should separate measurable coverage from marketing language.

The checklist format makes it much easier to understand what should be discussed before an appointment.
I would also take a few condition photos before handover so both sides have the same reference point.
